THE WORST - DO NOT BUY - THERE IS NO LIFETIME WARRANTY

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Bought this at the mall by a "distributor", which is how they get you. Called HairStyler and they say there is no such thing as a lifetime warranty and the distributor lied.

Now I am out of $200 and they refuse to answer my calls or exchange my flat iron. Lastly, customer service is rude and they will tell you a supervisor is not available. I called several times and they will let you go to voicemail as well. These people have scam artist I will never purchase from them again.

Oh and they change their locations in the mall so you cant find them for an exchange.

At my local mall they shut down completely, opened up again and changed their name to evolution. Dont be scammed.

Herstyler - Flat Iron Review from Tampa, Florida

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I purchased the flat iron and the dude told me that I could get a flat iron holder, shampoo and conditioner, hair serum, and a comb for free. After paying $160 I felt as I was ripped off and I paid for everything that I received for "free".

Once I got home I looked online and the flat iron was $34 . I called the man back and he told me there was no refunds. I washed my hair with the shampoo and conditioner and ALOT of my hair came out. The shampoo and conditioner is very cheap .

On the bottle it says its $25 dollars. It should be worth $0.

I would not recommend anyone to purchase this flat iron and products from the mall. If you want the flat iron, order online!

Broken Herstyler

wow finally a place where I can be heard. I bought a pair about three years ago and never used the.

When I got home from buying a pair from a stand in a big shopping Centre, i found they was broken. I went back the next day and the stand had disappeared. Week after I saw the stand in a different shopping centre and explained what happened. They said bring them back and we swap.

I went back two days later and the stand had disappeared. I was at that point well annoyed. I googled and found a phone number to ring and they refused to swap the straighteners as they were purchased from a distributer. I was given a phone number to ring and that number never answered the call.

To this day the straighteners are laid in my wardrobe and every time I see them I feel extremely annoyed how ***-artists can get away with taking innocent peoples money. Yes I call them ***-artists as I have heard many other complaints about the stalls disappearing after selling broken items.

Herstyle Scam

When I bought one, they gave me a special deal because the box was broken. Then claimed the charge did not go through and charged me twice.

When I noted that I was charged twice, they claimed the second charge would not go through. When it did, I asked they refund the charge, and they did supposedly, but not really. And so I paid $200 for something you can buy online for $20.

feeling really *** and scammed at this point. DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS.

Not happy at all

I bought 4 of these for almost 200.00 each, and the plate came out of them all, not happy. Loved them til they all broke.

I bought mine at 2 differnt malls in Little Rock AR. Someone should be responsible since its a life time warranty. I took them back to the store at the mall and they said i had to have th box at no time when i bought them for my daughter and my self did they mention that. I feel like they took advantage of me.

If i would have know that i would have kept the box and the receipt everytime i went to the mall it was someone new always trying to sell me one and i told them i already had one and it was broke and didnt work and ask if there was a way to send them back and each time was told yes with a box, and i said i wasnt ever told i had to keep the box only the receipt. Which i still have the receipt to one of them and still have 2 of them under the cabient in hopes i can get a new, because they worked awesome until the plate came out and they wouldnt replace it.

I am not happy at all.. Someone owes all of us ladies are moey back plan and simple since we were never told to keep the box.

What a scam

HerStyler - What a scam

I went to quail springs mall with my mom to get her eyes checked and get some new glasses. We'll on the way to go look at frames I was stopped my a woman with a very strong accent.

She started asking me question about my hair. I thought what the hey I have the time lets just see what she is trying to sell me. I sit down and she starts talking to me about a flat iron and how the herstyler is one of the only true ceramic flat irons. We'll she starts using it on my hair and doing different things like straighting and curling.

Then she went a strand of hair and showed that I could use it on wet hair . I thought cool but that is only a small strand. We'll then she decides to start teasing the strand of hair to show me that the curl would still be there when I brush it out. We'll then she starts putting everything in front of me ans saying well I will give you the stand ,the shampoo and conditioner plus a tube of the a grave oil for free with the purchase of the flat iron for 250.00.

I said are you serious 250. That is too much I am not going to pay that. She says okay and goes to her handy dandy computer acts like she is clicking on some stuff and then comes over and gets right in my face and starts whispering that for me and me only and that I was not to tell anyone that she would give me the stand for free and charge me 125.00 for what ever color I wanted. I told her that is still a lot for just a flat iron.

She seemed to get an attuned at that point and tells me we'll I will give you my card and the offer only stands for today. And I walked away.

We'll me being the thrifty person that I am plus my curiosity was getting the best of me I started looking it up online and I found numerous complaints pretty much with the same complaints as mine. Just saw a range of prices that people are being charged. We'll I also decided to look on amazon and I found the exact flat iron that she was trying to sell me was 25.00 on amazon.

What a difference in price. I also found the stand for 9.99 on amazon.

So ladies if you really like it buy from amazon and do not let those people in the mall scam you. I think that they need to be be honest and maybe they would get more sales and less complaints.

Herstyler - Flat Iron Review from Santa Maria, California

I bought a straightener at our local county fair and was promised the lifetime warranty

That's the only reason why I paid that much for the product

One of the plates stopped heating up and I could never get a hold of the person that sold it to me !!!!

Such a bummer

If they offer lifetime warranty they need to stand by it

It's completely overpriced and they lie, lie, lie. I purchased it Herstyler for my daughter a few years ago because they claimed no damage to hair.

Also, myself and my daughter can get her hair straightened or curled anytime m-Sunday. So today I walk past the stand in the mall and they're trying to sell me a new one called evolution. Saying it's no heat damage so I said I already have the Herstyler and it's no heat damage too. He said no it's not that's why we made this new one.

Also they say get a new one of one breaks and that's not true either.

My daughters cracked so I brought it back they said they couldn't replace it but I can buy a new one for 25 percent off. I bought a new one on Amazon for $19 and it works the same and thankfully hasn't broken!

************PLEASE READ**********

I was in 12 Oaks Mall in Novi, MI and a man from the Herstyler kiosk approached me. I will admit, my youngest daughter's hair is very hard to tame and at this time, the proof was in the pudding. Anyway, I had been approached by sellers of this brand in another mall in another state and had thought about buying one. I was already to buy a flatiron because me and my two daughters needed one. Anyway, the guy offers to demonstrate on my baby's hair and reluctantly I granted permission. I admit, WHATEVER flatiron he used was really good!!! It straightened her hair like the old fashioned straightening comb and I was beyond impressed. When he was doing his spill, he mentioned the flatiron uses steam. However, I did not ask where the water goes or anything. He told me the price and knowing that some flatirons cost that much, for a STEAM flatiron this was a steal. I bought the $110.00 item and went on my way.

The next day I planned to used it. While I was having coffee with my husband and friends I started thinking about the fact that he did not tell me where the steam went into the device. When I got home and took it out, VOILA, a REGULAR FLATIRON THAT I COULD HAVE BOUGHT FOR 20 BUCKS! I was mad, but I am at fought. I had declined these people before and should have done so again. No refund should tell have told me to say NO!!

THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS!! PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM> it is too late for me, but not for you.

I have one and I really like it. I usually say no thank you and keep walking, but one day I actually stopped and was very impressed.

I've had it for over a year and I'm still happy. The steam is not from water that you put in the straightener. My salesman explained to me that it actually evaporates anything that's sitting on top of your hair (like leftover residue from shampoo and conditioner). Other straighteners just cook those residues on to your hair.

The salesman can be pushy, which I know can be very annoying for some people, but they seem to believe in the product and have always been polite to me (even when badgering me to stop for them). They gave me a little card to get my hair done for free, and I love going there because they're always fun and interesting to chat with while they curl my hair with the straightener.

I'm happy for you....but sorry if I think you are either a seller of one of these over priced gadgets, or they paid you well.

Mei Tbn

Hello,

I am happy that you checked here first. NO IT DID NOT WORK THE SAME when I got home.

I ended up going to Walmart and actually buying a flat iron that really does have the steam function for LESS than what I paid for the Herstyler and it works beautifully!

Please do not let these people fool you-they are true scammers. The flatiron they are selling can be bought at Famuily Dollar for 15 bucks.

Guest

Daughter wants one too from those folks at the mall. Does the iron work the same way it did for you there? I know the fact that there is no water source so how does it steam, but does it work like it did when he demo'd it?
